Noosa Headland Walks
Noosa is the proverbial Mecca for coastal walks. Offering a massive variety of scenery, tracks, length, flora and fauna, there is almost a walk for every day of the year. Explore the coastal regions through Noosa National Park which covers an area of over 454ha, or venture into the Noosa Hinterland. All trails are well signposted to minimize your chance of getting lost and include basic amenities like toilets on the way.
There aren’t many places as beautiful as Noosa Heads and there’s no better way to experience this than by taking one of the walks along and around Noosa’s headland. There’s a short walk (45 minutes) through to long walks (up to four hours depending on your pace). You’ll find plenty of information at the entrance to help you choose a trek. You’ll be able to see everything from large, almost completely deserted beaches such as Alexandra Bay to the appropriately named Hell’s Gates, where the ocean roughly ebbs and flows down between two cliff faces.
