Noosa Waterfront Restaurant

Your nonnas and bisnonnas would be rolling around in their graves knowing the lack of love that goes into your food and customer service. I was there a few days ago ordering some lasagne takeaway for dinner. I shouldn't have bothered (and won't again). The piece of lasagne was the same size as my mobile phone! Flat as a pancake. I've never seen anything like it. You know lasagne has layers (that's layers with an "s", as in plural, right)? It was so shocking I measured it - 7cm by 6cm, and 'stacked' (term used loosely) 1 to 1.5cm maximum high. And just to clarify, this was not a miniature marvel created by an amazing chef, this was a couldn't care less, slap some slop in a container. I've had shopping centre food court (shudders) lasagne better than this, even the Coffee Club can do it better too, and that's saying something. What happened? I recently held our Ceremony there - it was fantastic! The location and setting was perfect, we had the ceremony on the grass outside, then had an amazing meal. We had about 65 guests and all commented on how great the food and service was. It was a special day for us and we had a great time! It suited us perfectly as most guests were staying next door or across the road - no trying to get home after a big night!

I won't go back there. Hopeless service and average food. Not worth wasting money on.

We had our wedding here late 2009. I believe the Waterfront had come under new management pror to our special day. Everything was great, the food delicious! Wine menu, average. We also have had dinner here on other occassions and loved it, the food was perfectly seasoned, no need for salt & pepper shakers here. I look forward to dining at the Waterfront every time I visit Noosa. Wonderful private venue.

We recently experienced this venue for a wedding and found the service to be unacceptable, with obvious issues arising among staff. It appeared disorganised and slightly out of control. Small requests during the wedding were met with anger rather than customer service. Food was overpriced considering the poor service. Would not recommend this for a function. Nice location for a dinner.
