This is a pretty decent pub, and quite a large one at that. The problem that I found with it was that they didn’t have a great selection of beers. In fact, the selection was rather limited which was a real shame, and something that I didn’t really expect from a pub like this. However, that aside, they have a pretty large beer garden and a rather awesome one at that. Also, it is quite large, with a number of bars there as well. It may not be the easiest to get to, but it is still pretty good.
Not one of my favourite places for a Sunday Session. The Normanby gets genuinely rowdy, full of incredibly drunk people with nowhere better to go on a Sunday. And it's not even cheap! The pub downstairs has reasonable food, and if you go on a Saturday it's a lot quite. But the Normanby is known for its Sundays, and if you're not prepared for a very messy Sunday Session, I really wouldn't recommend it.
