They have had my car first for 10weeks though it did come home on the Friday and went back on the Monday, got it back just before Christmas and it has to go back. Was to.d it has wa manufacturing fault that caused my problems and that it would be fixed under warranty, was told by the mechanic that VW would give me a 3 year extended warranty on the motor. Communication skills are non existent. They don’t answer their phones. Even Volkswagen Australia couldn’t get them on the phone. Pick up my car to be told no you only get a 2 year VW warranty on work done. But no that’s not right either, you on,y get a 1year Norris Motor Group warranty. Which means I can’t take my car to anyone else to fix the problems they can’t because that means I have to pay for it. Not to mention that Anne Marie the lady in the Service Dept refuses to speak to me, when my daughter and I went there to get things out of my car, she refused to serve us walked right past us after picking up ...read more
Exceptional service on a Saturday morning. The workshop was fully booked but given my circumstance the workshop team made space, fixed my car and to top it all lent me a vehicle to attend to some business. The willingness to help and the great outcome (car fixed and no need to wait until the next week to get it fixed) indicate a truly customer focussed team
I want to share my bad experience with Norris VW Service Department and to help others learn from my experience.
I came in for a 90K service for my VW Tiguan on 11/9/17. Service manager (Martin) advised me that my car required a software update as the recall/update was outstanding.I was led to believe that it will not impact on the performance of the car and that i will not notice anything. After the update i have noticed and found the following issues:
• Engine to be less responsive, loss of power and weak acceleration with smoke bellowing from exhaust.
• Catalytic converter light came on ...read more
My Tiguan is about to go back in after 10 weeks still can’t fix it. It all started with the Catayltic converter light came on and the car was coughing etc severely. Car towed to them when they got to it the problem was found to be a manufacturing fault the piston I. The first cyclinder was at fault and had caused major issues with the car. Then the fuel injector went, fuel problems, computer problems, now the oil leaks on the outside of the engine instead of the inside and I can’t drive my car because it accelerates on its own, it just takes off.

Just bought a new VW Golf wagon. The sales team member was knowledgeable and very accomodating with a loan car for a few days to give it a good run. Also very good with my trade in and pricing. Early days yet but the car is brilliant and after sales follow up has been good. Usual up selling which I took up even though the extended warranty seemed overpriced for what it offered. Haven't had to have a service yet but hopefully it will match the sales experience. Would recommend both the car and the dealership.
