North Restaurant
The waiting staff is young, friendly, though slightly regimented in uniform with name and number tags, giving a sense this is a big corporate dining room. The menu changes with the season with such choices as grilled scallops, a bouillabaisse and a lamb rack with ratatouille. A side salad has mercifully fresh leaves but comes with a mint-sauce-style dressing. A sago pudding with coconut milk, palm sugar and kaffir lime leaves comes in a quirky designer glass and a mango with raspberry brulee and creme fraiche.
