Value for money. I have had no problem whatsoever with the products I bought. The fridge I bought many months ago , and the modern washing machine I bought is quiet and thorough. The Sanyo vaccum cleaner is very efficient and there's no need to have disposable bags. I can also find parts online. Overall the brands and models are the best and the vendor knows his product.
I sought to purchase a white good and experienced harsh and intimidating sales technique. Initially I paid a deposit of 50 dollars on 24th June 2014 for a washer and dryer that I found later to be overpriced and did not pick it up. In the interim I tried visiting the store on multiple occasions during business hours but it was either unattended or closed. Today I went to the store to ask for a replacement but all small electronics items were overpriced and when I showed online evidence of similar brand new items available at department store for a fraction of their asking price; they had a fit of rage and became verbally abusive and physically approached very close to me. I felt threatened for my well-being. I immediately walked out of the premise. Ive then proceeded to file a complaint with the state regulator. Let's see if any action comes out of this.
Selling second hand machines and claiming they are brand new factory seconds. He sold us a machine that we found out from the manufacturer was 8 years old (factory seconds should be 1-2 years old) and had a worn out main bearing (which can only happen after many years of heavy use). He does not provide proper receipts or written warranties and will not honour warranties when the appliances break down (as he has no capability to fix them). He claims to be a factory outlet for Fisher & Paykel but they have never heard of him.
