Stay clear of this guy. The worst water feature job ever. Who doesn't waterproof a water feature! He told us we should have told him to waterproof it. He has no ABN or builders license of his own. The job was for over $5000 and this requires a license. Other smaller jobs were sloppy - Slat panels with only one screw, not 2; Pavers uneven; Screws exposed; Gate posts not even showing screws in gaps; etc. etc. And even he has the cheek to post a photo of our water feature on the internet. Avoid or it will cost you.

I have now used Michael on three occasions to undertake substantial landscaping tasks. Together we have built a series of inter-relating wooden retaining walls that have stood true for over four years. Secondly, Michael has constructed a rock garden and water feature for which seven happy goldfish say 'thankyou". Recently I asked him to come back and terrace a steep section with sandstone walls. I know that when I ask Michael to undertake a task he will provide me with good advice and then source me with materials at a discount to what I can buy up the Mona Vale Road. I have found him to be honest and good humoured and above all, a good worker and supervisor. I am happy to refer Michael to anyone on the peninsula looking for a friendly, no-nonsense landscaper. The computer tells me I can waffle on for about another 4000 characters, but I don't think I need say any more - I had a landscape problem and Michael was there to sort me out. Tim M.

Mike has been able to transform our well overgrown rear yard and rock walls into a garden which is now easy to maintain. He has retained the special features of our natural bushland section beautifully. All work was carried out with thoughtful consultation and suggestions, and a minimum of fuss.
