Northern Star Cafe

If was the rather colourful exterior that initially attracted me to this place. However, I discovered that it didn’t seem to stick to your standard cafe opening hours. In fact, it seemed to open after lunch as opposed to first thing in the morning that most places seem to open. Yet it was rather nice, though a little stock standard inside. It isn’t one of those fancy types of cafes you tend to find about the place. Actually, I suspect that it is more an ice cream parlour, though they do serve tea and coffee, and it wasn’t bad either.

Im sorry but it was terrible! My steak was gritty, the sauce was almost water and my 'vegatables' consisted of mostly sourcrout and boiled potatos! ! yuck! Waitstaff didnt seem to have much of a sense of how to treat customers and would just chuck the book on your table untill you decide what you want which was really strange. Such a waste of money

Home made Italian dishes pastas, Salads Entrees - perfect for lunch, dinner or even breakfast with great sized portions just like mum used to make. Good when you don't want it too noisy, like the Saturday lunch or the morning after the night before.
