My husband and I believe that Northside Christian College is absolutely fantastic! Our experience has been completely contrary to the previous reviewer. Our child has excelled academically and has been encouraged to do so. Religious education is incorporated into all facets of learning not just an additional subject. Which, we believe, is the way in which Christians should live, not just a Sunday Church goer but Christ as the central focus of all aspects of life. The school is very open about this and when filling out enrolment information there is no missing this fact. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Northside.
The school is connected to the church, so if you are pentecostal in faith, you should be OK with their religious education. But if not, you may find, like we did, that their religion is of concern. The teachers employed while our children went there were employed because they went to that style of church, not based on experience etc. So consequently lots of new graduated with no experience, and no behaviour management skills. The emphasis was on their religion, and not on education quality. We pulled our children out, and sent them to a state school where the behaviour management was outstanding, and the children were behind and had to catch up because of the poor standard at Northside Christian College.
