Not Bread Alone
This place has been here possibly for a decade, in a part of crows nest that isn't foody central, its opposite and away from the post office which was recently demolished. So it's just around the corner from the pacific highway. You don't go for a beaut view, just a homely atmosphere. Food is ok and not expensive, it's more a spot for locals to chow down their food, casual and not a show pony. Prices in line with the quality of the food.
I visited Not Bread Alone for brunch with friends Sunday last week. I was really impressed. Most of the seating is outdoors/pseudo outdoors in their courtyard and on the street. It was quite despite highway address because the cafe overlooks Hume Street. Service was fast and polite. Food was yummy. We got muesli, eggs benedict, mushrooms and an omelette.
