Really Beautiful Property that's grand and almost heritage looking on the outside. The inside lobby area if very elegant looking and spacious with a versatile sitting area for casual drink service from The Field Bar & Restaurant. The new rooftop bar upstairs though is where i attended an event. In the open air from high above admiring the metro city skyline, they offer a simple wine selection and menu of loaded fries which is easy and satisfying and which I like! If you're a guest in the hotel, it's also the same level where the pool is so there are so many dimensions and ways to enjoy this space up in the clouds!
I usually have a lovely experience at a Novotel but this one was a little weird.
I was lucky enough to be upgraded to Accor Gold status recently and lined up in the priority check in queue.
As I approached the counter, I was apologised to as the concierge called over and served two other customers from the other line first.
All good, I wasn't in a hurry, but not sure now of the purpose of the queue anyway??
My room was on the 16th floor and fairly standard for an older hotel. However there was a wet patch on the carpet outside the bathroom that never dried.

We used Hotel's Car park facility on 24th December. Due to their poor maintenance, #2 elevator we took dropped to basement level. It was such shock to everyone in the lift, my daughter started crying immediately. The response from hotel was slow. After trapped in the lift for more than half hour on Xmas Eve, the management didnt even offer a single apology. Merely referred this incident as traffic we would face each day and hinted to us that we should just deal with it. I cant understand how Hotel could employ such people dealing with daily request from guest when cant even display sympathy to someones ordeal due to hotels poor maintenance. Think about your safety when you plan to stay here!!!
