NQEA provides Fabrication, Machining, Stress Relieving and Non-Destructive Testing (NATA accredited) services from a 1.2 ha site in Cook Street, Cairns, Australia.
NQEA's 4,000 m2 workshop contains Far North Queensland's heaviest machining equipment including an 8.0 m bed CNC mill, 3.1 m long CNC lathe and 3.5 m diameter vertical borer.
NQEA's engineering solutions reach to international and domestic customers operating in industries including coal, nickel, zinc, alumina, bauxite, sugar and energy.
NQEA and its team hold extensive experience with industrial plant including:
- Pressure Vessels (carbon and stainless steel);
- Process Vessels (flash tanks, clarifiers, flotation cells);
- Process Pipework (steam, vapour, liquid);
- Conveyors, Transfer Towers and Chutes;
