Not much differs here in terms of public service however it is refreshing that you can still physically visit the department and speak with a person rathe than an automated service. The waiting times definitely fluctuate depending on the day you choose to visit and it can be pot luck the service you receive depending on who is rostered on for the day. The reception and security on the other hand always provide exceptionally friendly and helpful service. For those that are online savvy the interactive website is fantastic in fast tracking applications, filling out the necessary forms and purchasing searches from the online store.
My tip: ensure you have all the right forms filled out correctly before arriving.
