NSW Strata Management

Terrible!!

We ended up dismissing NSW Strata in managing our block of Units, the management was never helpful and at times quite rude. All they seemed to do was charge ridiculous fees, when we wanted quotes or repairs done they took their time or never go them for us! They even tried to charge me for a plumbing job that they claimed on insurance.

Out executive on the block was rude to the owners corporation and would send harassing emails in which the management did nothing about.

DO NOT go near NSW strata.

Very poor strata company. Havent had experience with any other strata companies - you have to chase them up for everything once you have the ball rolling on something or it wont be done. Needed some maintenance for a serious issue but it took them over 6 months for it to be 'complete' and this is with me hassling them all the time. Will be looking to leave this company but i know it wont be easy.

We had the most dreadful experience with NSW Strata. We had them for many years, they took us for granted. It was very difficult to get to talk to the management, when we called in the morning they're always in a meeting. We would then leave a message and still not hear from them for a few days. When we called again, we were told they had gone for lunch. When we call later (about 3.30pm), they're either not on their desk (was told they're somewhere in the office and unable to be reached) or they're gone for the day! I have had a completely different experience with NSW Strata and have found the staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable and they actually return phone calls unlike our previous strata manager. They act on the committees requests promptly and have a great selection of tradesman to come and do work for us. As with any body corporate we decide the levies that will be charged and they have given us great advice on saving money by keeping costs down and putting money in our sinking fund so we can replace capitol items in the future.

Worst strata company I have ever had dealings with in all the different properties I or anyone in my family has ever had manage one of their investment properties. One of their managing agents is the rudest person I have ever had to deal with. We have had situations where they forgot to action requests and blamed it on other executive committee members. They have also hung up on me several times when I have asked a question and said they don't need to answer or help me. The funniest thing is we employed this person and paid their strata management fees. They are always part of the problem and never wants to help you solve a problem or an issue. Everything is a hassle and more than 50% of the owners felt this way. Thank god we have changed strata committees and they will never manage any properties that I or my family are in again!.
