Balingup is one of the most progressive small country towns in WA, with plenty to see and do - speciality shops, arts and crafts, local attractions and events. Walk Trails include the Golden Valley Tree Park (WA's largest arboretum) and the Bibbulmun Track.

Balingup is central for exploring the Blackwood River Valley and the South West of Western Australia. Scenic drives take you through beautiful countryside and forests - the Nannup-Balingup Road is notably one of the best drives in the SW. Pemberton, Northcliffe, Margaret River, Augusta and Busselton are easily accessible for day trips.
