Although we didnt end up building with Oakford, we had a brilliant experience with them in the designing and quoting of our new home. Kimberly (their consultant) went over and above in her efforts to make sure we were happy and looked after. At every step, she checked in and talked to us about what we wanted and how. We asked for many design revisions and nothing was too much trouble. Their quote was very reasonable compared to others and included a higher specification than most homes of the same price. We talked directly to several people who had built their homes with Oakford and without exception they were very positive about the whole process, and so we were very close to signing a contract. Unfortunately at the last minute we were unable to start the process of building and had to sell our land due to some family health issues. At 70 building our first home was a daunting prospect for us. We looked at what seemed like 100 homes before finding what we wanted. We had so many variations in creating our bespoke home that lesser builders would have shown us the door. But "no", Oakford were kind, patient and attentive and what a delightful result of which both the owners and builders are proud - we actually put on a lttle party with the builders to celebrate the outcome! We felt that we were dealing with family - decent and reliable people indeed.



Despite being a builder in my own right for many years it must be said that it is doubtful that I could have completed this significant project within Oakfords' price let alone having access to all their deep experience and talented tradespeople plus that all important customer service - very happy!

A very efficient builder to do business with. Our build is progressing smoothly, and we are very impressed with the quality of materials and workmanship. With previous builders we have found that customer service stops as soon as you've signed the contract, but not with Oakford. They are aware that their clients are paying rent AND mortgage, and endeavour to stick to the given schedule. Although we are not in possession of the finished product yet, it's likely that Oakford will be our first choice on future build projects.
