I loved the view, the room not so much. The dcor is rather shabby and old-fashioned with a motel look, especially considering the prices. You need to book a spa room for the really good views of Cottesloe Beach. The food, however is great and the views and location certainly have a lot to offer. The faade is vaguely art deco, reminiscent of Miami Beach style hotels. The hotel also caters to backpackers which can, at times, get rowdy as this is also a nightspot.
Huuby and I had the seafood share plate and it was lovely, fish was delicious... The Flatinis were a little average. Hubby loved steak sandwich. A little pricy for drink (cointreau and lemonade) . The view was stunning. We chose to go here for our 7 year wedding anniversary. The dissapointing part was the grupmy waitress. Considering she gets to work with a great view she was in a real bad mood. We asked for a window to be closed and that was hard work for her then she rolled her eyes when asked another question. We watched foher for a couple of minutes and she was like this with all. Would go back though and relax. Nice atmosphere...
