Ocean Bites Fish & Chippery

Service wasn't as bad as mentioned, I felt quite welcomed when I was there. Not sure if the management has changed again. Chips definitely better than average, and always like the fish batter there.

I've been to heaps of local fish and chips places around the area and this one is by far the best. Obviously service is not top notch as others have mentioned, but the food is great. Always hot, always fresh. I love their flake and seafood sticks. You can always tell if a fish and chip shop is good by their standard of chips, and theirs is always delicious. This place is always busy when I go in, so it must say something! #reviewtowin

Ive been going to Ocean Bites for 8 years now. I was loyal to the original management - but the new operators who have been there for the last year or 2 are rude. No hello, or goodbye, not thankyou when they take your money, no smile. Same level of service you would expect in Centrelink. You almost feel like an idiot being polite when you order and pay, and then when you collect.



The food if ok (burgers not so good) - but i recommend asking them to pack you chips seperately if you want to see any value. Obviously they hope you will buy more food if they give you less in each serving. Also recommend checking you order is correct before you walk out the door as ive had to drive back several times.



I now go to other shop - its a longer drive for me - but I would rather give my money to that business than Ocean Bites.

Been going here for 5 yes now and service has reached it's all time low.

Old management was polite always smiled and always made sure when u ordered $5 chips u got $5 of chips.



New management has had it for a couple of years now I guess and they are rude when taking phone orders it's yep yep



Don't order a hamburger they never cook it all the way through even when requested have now stopped ordering them. Went back to nugget packs and now u get the right amount of nuggets if your lucky and hardly any chips, tonight I got maybe 15 I couldn't believe it I had to take a photo of it.



Worse service food is poor only go there if everything is else is shut.



Don't waste your money u get more good for money elsewhere and that's saying something.
