I have lived in St Helens since moving from Adelaide in 2004 and have always attended this practice, through the thick and thin times when doctors were coming and going frequently. I am currently being treated by Doctor Vineet Jain and I am more than happy with the the high standards of care and excellence that he sets for himself and for keeping me in line and responsible for my own health outcomes. That is not an easy thing to do when your client/patient is a crusty old ex nurse with qualifications in ICU, Nursing Management and Family Therapy.
I have no reservations in complementing all at the St Helen's General Practice and for any new comers ,I totally and without reservation recommend Dr Vineet Jain as a Doctor who goes out of his way to make sure that his clients have the best quality of care that he and this Practice can ...read more
This practice is professional and and the building itself is aesthetically pleasing. One doctor -- Dr Alison Bleaney --- is a wonderful and caring doctor. She has been featured in Australian Story on the ABC. I am moving soon and I will be sad to say goodbye to this medical practice and in particular Dr Bleaney. I would highly recommend this practice.
Building is a big improvement from the old. Localy made quilts on display beautiful. Pity about the certain management & some of the sour desk clerks.
Waiting in the rooms for the doctors you are hit with an over loud blaring radio with a sign on it 'don't touch' - I & a lot of others would love to smash it. Seems that the staff sitting behind the desk with a wall between them & the radio, like to hear the music - the poor dears, they should stay home, leaving the waiting rooms for the not so well wanting a bit of peace. Wake up management & staff, we do not want the radio, regardless if you say the volume is ok. It is not ok! A visiting hearing specialist was trying to take a test & had to block up the door for this to happen, didn't work, could still hear the radio. He is such a polite chap he did not complain to them about it, pity he staff are not as polite. If there is another medical practice to go to rather than in St Helens-go to it.
