O'Connell's Bookshop

This is one of my favourite second-hand bookshops in Adelaide. Okay, it may not necessarily have the books that I am looking for, but this is not really that type of shop (if you want a specific second-hand book there are other places to go) but rather one of those shops where you can simply wander around and browse at what there is to offer. However it is more than just a second-hand bookshop whose shelves are packed with books nobody wants, it is also an antiquarian bookshop where you can find collections of old books and even first editions. In my explorations through here I have found beautiful dusty tomes, specific editions of books that I have been looking for, as well as a large collection of Biggles books (though some can be quite pricey). The staff have always been friendly and approachable, which is why this place has always rated highly for me.
