The self serve malfunctioned on me 3 times. One time froze and has to restart, but not obvious it froze it said loading, but after 5 mins it was obvious broken. So I split the prder in 2 lots. When machine is out of paper it doesn’t say paper error, staff didn’t know it was out of paper after 2 failed receipt prints, I had to tell them. They also failed to put an out of order sign on and I had to tell other customers not to use. They couldn’t reprint my receipt, so I had to wait for the photos to be printed behind the counter. And took ages to action my order. I went to self service for a reason, the queue of people at counter. Go to Yarraville Officeworks instead.
I was here the other day printing out a number of photos. I find the self-service to print photos at Office Works really easy to manage and co-ordinate. The staff were friendly, having someone at the door to greet you upon arrival. There’s always plenty of staff around near the printing area to help with any issues or concerns, in which I’ve always found them to be helpful in almost all Office Works locations I’ve been too. The price of the prints is also relatively competitive compared to a number of other locations who also offer the same service. The only concern I had this time round was the quality of the prints didn’t seem to appear like how I use to print them, the paper were thin and the quality of the matt image was not too great. When I raised this with the them, they also agreed and suggested to try and print on gloss which made a huge difference although the paper quality remains quite low.
