Officeworks

The customer service at this particular officeworks is shocking! I asked the guy at help desk for printing. Because my documents have A4 writings and A3 drawings, the clerk refused to print them separately for me. Kept telling me my format is wrong and it’s impossible to print two A4 pages into one A3 page. Telling me the whole thing will cost over $80! My colleague has printed similar documents at a different officeworks before so I know it can be done at a fraction of the price. The guy is just lazy and refused to help me. What a waste of my time. I decided to just buy some A3 paper and print it at home. I asked the woman at the counter if they have just a single pack of A3 paper, she kept asking me if I even knew what size of paper I wanted, sizing me up up and down. Giving me the dirtiest look I’ve ever seen... Eventually telling me they are at the top of the shelf knowing that I’m clearly too short to reach them. Everytime I go to this store the staff are friendly and they greet you as soon as you enter but today was completely disappointing! One of the worst customer service I experienced.

I was looking for a stylus I couldn't find so I waited for a staff to help me, few minutes later no one noticed me so I approached one of the staff members. I asked him if he could help me and he said, " I'm busy, I'm doing something".

I froze as I was not expecting someone who works there would response in a rude way. Anyway, I still proceeded and showed him what I was looking for on the officework's mobile website on my smartphone, he just looked at it and he looked at me said "no". The look he gave me was as if he doesn't time for this and he can't be bothered.

I left the store feeling my day was ruined by this rude man.

This Office Works has been around for a long time. Probably one of the first that i ever walked in to. Opposite Highpoint Shopping Centre, so a convenience for all your office needs or school needs. Overtime i must say you can really tell how old this office works is. When busy and it is always busy, the floor seems very messy and needs a bit of attention to tidying up. I have found several times its very hard to get assistance on the floor so its best to walk in prepared knowing what you are after and doing your own research as service is very slow. Sometimes out of stock on items so i would have to make a trip to another Office Works. Overall experience is the same everytime, its expected and is average for as i know what i need so i dont spend a lot of time in here and i always try to avoid peak seasons like back to school.

They always seem to run out of the good items in the catalogue specials and the last straw was when they refused to price match a UE Boom bluetooth speaker that was clearly advertised somewhere else for cheaper. Not cool.

The first shop I think of when it comes to office products. They pretty much stock everything you'll ever need in an office at a very competitive price. Their range is incredible large and the store layout makes everything easy to find. Although if you are having trouble locating something, it may be hard to find a staff that can assist you in that area as certain staff are only allocated to certain areas. I've purchased a desk from here a number of years ago and I'm still using it to this day with no problems at all. Great quality.
