Officeworks

I was a fan of officeworks but today was first time I required help. I purchased an iPad late March 2021, and I notice a Scrath on the screen as I was cleaning it. Since I have 12 month warranty I went to Officeworks West Gosford to enquire what could be done.

The sales person clearly didn't care or assumed that I wanted it replaced and went on to say my warranty covers electrical only. She said take it somewhere and get it replaced. This annoyed me as given that it's less than 2 months old and has a valid warranty an could actually be a manufacture fault but she wasn't interested in helping.

Given I have a warranty I expected her to say, no problem we can send it to apple and obtain a quote for repair after it gets diagnosed

Bad customer service and quite arrogant

I love Office Works and until recently this was the closest store (over 45 mins away) so I never get to come here too often. They stock everything you need for your home, home office or office. I love the colour coordinated stationery, the range, the prices, and the novelty items, like little USB vacuum cleaners - that look like miniature retro vacuum cleaners or highlighters that look like a bottle of nail polish. They have a great range of phones - both mobile and landline, tablets, laptops and computers. The staff is very friendly and the store is HUGE it would take an hour or more just to have a good look up and down each aisle. If you are wanting supplies for your child for school or Uni or for you home or office they will have pretty much everything you are looking for :-)
