O'heas Bakery & Deli (Coburg)

There's a good reason why the local real estate agent boards list proximity to the local primary school, public transport, bike paths and the O'Heas Bakery and Deli as selling points for houses in the area around this Coburg institution. My neighbour's grandchildren aren't alone in their devotion to the 'Nonna bread' that she buys for them there, although the range extends beyond ciabatta to sour dough, rye and more. Also on offer is good coffee, traditional Italian treats, cheeky service for regulars and neighbourhood ambience. Allow extra time for the staff to serve you on weekends.

YUM YUM YUM the secret is out! This is where all the Italians from all over come for there bread! Get in early for your fresh ciabatta loaf, its goes quick. I love the traditional continental cakes, reminds me of my childhood. Its a bit pricy, but worth it.

The garage (indooor) outdoor seating needs a workover boys, and turned into a cleaner and more comfortable cafe look. Other than that love it.

Fantastic food and drinks at resonable prices. Great range of products and friendly staff but wait times can be very long depending on time of day. Limited vegetarian options for quick, healthy food.
