Head chef and owner Ross Gibb of the Cleveland 'Old Courthouse Restaurant' establishment has come a long way from his humble beginnings as a young man in Edinburgh with a yearning to get into the restaurant trade. In the early 1990's he settled in Australia, and just over a decade ago he opened 'The Old Courthouse Restaurant' in a building that used to be... you guessed it... a colonial courthouse.
Why not try Gibb's specialty, a grilled fillet of fresh Australian barramundi (coated with macadamia nuts, lemon and chives). We go to this restaurant on all special occasions and we have never been disappointed . The food is always 10 out of 10 the service even better we normally get the same waiter and he is amazing no matter now long In between visits he remembers what wine we order even when we forget he is the best waiter we have ever come across in all the places we have ever been we love this restaurant and would recommend to everyone the best atmosphere !
