Old Wesleyan Chapel
The Old Wesleyan Chapel provides self-contained accommodation in the historic town of Evandale, northern Tasmania.The chapel has been completely refurbished and has all the conveniences necessary for a comfortable stay. There is a fully-equipped kitchen, queen-size bed, and a spacious sitting and dining area. There is also an outside dining area, television and laundry facilities. Enjoy the privacy and space of having the entire property to yourself when you stay. The chapel was built in 1836 by the Wesleyan community. It has also been a Druids hall and the local community hall. A homemade breakfast pack is included which contains farm eggs, homemade breads, jams, cereals, porridge, freshly ground coffee, tea and milk.Explore the historic village of Evandale and soak up the Victorian era feel. Here you will find antique shops, quaint eateries and an excellent market on Sundays. Just a 15-minute drive to central Launceston, you can also visit boutique shops and leafy city parks.
