This chain is great in winter to stave off the chocolate cravings and have a hot chocolate out of the cold. However, I have never understood why there are so many when it's almost always hot here. Anyway, their golden chocolate macaroons are so good...possibly the best macaroons I've tasted because they aren't overly sweet, they're just great little indulgent bites
All I can really say is to give this place a miss – there are much better coffee shops in Sydney to spend your time. Okay it probably isn't as bad as that but I did find that it was a tad expensive, and the tea that the guy made for me wasn't really that crash hot. The reason I came here was because I had just finished my breakfast and saw it across the road so I dediced that I would grab a take-away tea before I headed off to the cathedral. Okay, he was fairly prompt, but I must say that there wasn't all that much that thrilled me with the place. It simply seemed to be quite standard and very uninspiring. I'd probably give the place a miss and try something a little more relaxed.
My friends had been talking about Oliver Brown for quite some time since late last year, so when they were having half price waffles promotion earlier in the year I decided to put my curiosity to rest and visited this chocolate cafe.
