I love this gym..its no frills compared to Fitness First and all those others who lack personality. This gym is an old gym and has older weights etc but that's what makes this gym work. The owner Paul who is just an amazing fella has slowly added new weights and machines but i couldnt care less if he did. This gym is for everyone unless you like to Pose and stare at yourself in the mirror. This gym has hard core body builders right down to newbies. It's a very friendly gym and i couldnt recommend it highly enough to anyone who is looking for a new gym. It's a bargain too also compared to the other bigger franchise gyms. Im sure their owner though doesnt know your name like Paul does. We love you Paul!
This gym is rough looking, but well run. Have been a member 6 months, it has a sole owner who knows everyones name.
It's not for everyone, if you want a new and pretty scene this isn't the place, but it is very cheap, unpretentious and not too busy, plus the hours are great (it's open pretty late).
I'm not a muscle head and felt a little out of place at first, but the owner made me feel welcome... highly recommend it to anyone who just wants to get fir without all the posing.
