Best donuts in the west! Always love that jam filled sugar coated goodness!

This pace has been around for such a long time and is famous for it's piping hot fresh jam donuts which used to be served out of a caravan. Since Footscray station has been redeveloped they now have a permanent setting that's been built, but the quality of the donuts and the jam being pumped out of the dolphin hasn't changed. Still the friendly old man frying donuts out the back with his staff/partner serving at the front!

As a teenager, i remember Olympic Doughnuts being the best jam doughnuts ever. everyone talks about it and everyone knows Footscray has the best jam doughnuts. Every time i would go grocery shopping with my mum in Footscray, i had to get one of these freshly baked doughnuts. As i grew up and stop shopping with my mum, i haven't had one in like over 15 years. i ordered 2 while i had an opportunity to be in Footscray a few weeks back. Of course the old little caravan is no longer there but there is an actual store built just outside Footscray station. Lining up, the previous person ordered 6, so i had the thoughts that they are still as good as i remembered them to be. I ordered 2, while waiting for them to be sugared up and jam filled, i was watching the lady prepare a new batch to be placed in the oven.
