Omega and Phi Mathematics Tuition

Mrs. Charles Gray believes that mathematics can be not only deeply fun, but easy and accessible to everyone. She tutors students of all ages, from primary school to undergraduate level.

Charles has over 15 years teaching experience in music and mathematics. She has been a professional music teacher since 1997, and began tutoring mathematics in 2010.

Charles was placed on the Dean's Honours List in 2012 for her studies in mathematics. In 2012 also received an Undergraduate Research Opportunity Award at the Walter and Eliza Hall institute in biostatistics and bioinformatics. In 2013 she received the prestigious Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute Summer Vacation Research Scholarship, in addition to a full scholarship to the AMSI Summer School in mathematics. In 2014 she has been invited back as a guest lecturer in statistics at the University of Melbourne.

Charles is currently undertaking Honours in pure mathematics at La Trobe University after completing her Bachelor of Science. Charles has also completed a Bachelor of Arts in cinema studies and literature at the University of Melbourne, and a Bachelor of Music in musicology at the Conservatorium of Music, University of Melbourne. ...read more
