If I have paid for an item, it needs to actually be available. That is what I would expect. But seemingly not with this company.
I ordered a laptop online (which was listed as being in stock), and received a request for payment. I transferred money to their account, and 5 days later got a phone call telling me that it was no longer in stock. Note that their website still showed it as in stock, seemingly long after it wasn't?
Mistakenly I thought 'well, I'll give them a second chance', and on the phone I suggested another laptop to them that showed online as being 'in stock'. They checked for me. It wasn't in stock of course.
I have requested an immediate refund.
As awful as it can get. Just had the worst shopping experience I've had in years.
The stock availability online is an absolute delusion, and people in the store have no idea what phone is for.
Spent about 40 minutes in total (that is, after 4 days of waiting of any progress on my order online, naturally, with no luck) confirming what they really had in stock. After 2 broken promises of "we'll give you a call back in an hour" and me persisting (even though should had known by then) the items list have decreased by half, and I went to the store to pick them up. And of course, in the store it turned out they only had one single item available.
Just bought a netbook from them online.
Caution: Credit card gets hit with surcharge.
However, very competitive pricing.
*VERY* Fast despatch and delivery. Transfered money by overnight deposit, unit was delievered before email telling me that it had been shipped even hit my inbox!
