On the beach noosa

Unfortunately our first (and last) experiece at On the Beach was not what we were hoping for. The rooms are lovely and very clean. The view from our balcony (first floor) was gorgeous. Cleaning staff very friendly and efficient. Location - couldn't ask for better. BUT....they don't tell you that weddings can be held in the restaurant (Bistro C) below. Our first night (a Friday) coincided with a wedding. It started in the afternoon which was no problem. The microphone and cheering was quite loud and came through our floor but was tolerable. Not good but tolerable. But then the music started. We were in shock that they could rent out a room for $500 per night and you couldn't hear your own TV. At 9pm I rang the restuarant (as reception closes at 5pm) to ask how long the music would last, and was told 11pm. I could not sleep.
