I am very displeased with the service I was provided. The travel agent led me to believe that I would be in a resort on Phuket Island, never explaining that we would actually me in a completely different location despite our flights taking us to Phuket. Indeed, this location was over 2 hours from our desired destination. Moreover, this location was a deserted and uninteresting town with no activities to do whatsoever without significant travel. As such, I was forced to spend hundreds of dollars for transport to get to the location I actually wanted to be at. After complaining about this situation to the travel agent, I was met with utter hostility and no apologies - the travel agent blamed me for not being aware of where I was travelling. However, I had checked google maps and the hotel's website and nothing indicated to me that I was not going to be in Phuket, perhaps because my geography is not brilliant.
