“OPAH” is an expression you often hear at celebrations, and this is feeling and intense emotion. Often accompanied with dance and Greek music. Fitting, because this venue is perfect for celebrations or simply enjoying food with friends. No plate smashing here, just delicious food and great hospitality.
Opah is family run business serving Greek food in a yum cha style. Located on Gerrale St, Cronulla, it’s raised space allows seating inside or in the sun and a lovely view of Cronulla beach. It is a large venue with both a seated dining space and also room for cocktail parties. It would be great for an event as they cater to parties.

Amazing restaurant with fantastic Greek food. I can't think of anything more divine than sitting on the balcony of Opah enjoying the fresh sea air while eating delicious Greek dishes and cocktails. The customer service is very attentive and engaging. I highly recommend the all you can eat Greek yum Cha! You get a little bit of everything and if your not full by the end then you an order more! Go ASAP.
I have been here a few times - usually for functions. It seems to be one of those places that manages big groups well because of the banquet menus - it's easy. I remembered it being better years ago, now it's just very average Greek all you can eat. But it's cheap, easy and filling.
We ordered the all you can eat yum cha for lunch the other day and thought it was fabbo! Its more degustation than yum cha in that they bring the dishes one by one. But it is all you can eat, in that they will bring more of any dish you like if requested. I guess at $40 a head its not the cheapest. I think they should probably drop the price for lunch to attract more business. The restaurant was quite empty compared to some of the surrounding businesses and it is in a prime position overlooking the beach so I would have expected more of a crowd.
As far as the meal went, my partner and I loved it. The dips, the marinated duck and the calamari were especially melt in your mouth tasty. We were both ...read more
