If I could give 0 stars I unfortunately would.
After 5 visits, 2 full eye assessments, and 3 facial measurements, several staff members at OPSM Chadstone were unable to work out why I still couldn’t see through my new reading glasses and kept telling me I need to give it time to get used to them.
I communicated how frustrated I was during the 3 week process and even provided feedback on my experience when they emailed me. Still nothing.
After all of this they realised they made errors on the prescription.
Do yourself a favour and head elsewhere.
We have been going to OPSM Chadstone many years. Our this year needed glasses. He scored a really practical optometrist whom explained his eye condition well. The Optician was also really well briefed and helpful with selection of frames etc.. down to getting the best deals for us. This was on Monday 28th Jan.
Time to pick up glasses on Saturday 2rd Feb. The young man whom helped us had very bad English, he pushed the glasses into my son’s face without making sure it fit, nose pads not done... ready to go, balance of money thanks. Very polite staff but poor quality merchandise. I purchaed a pair of multifocal glasses in March 2016. One arm broke off and I had that repaired at the cost of $80. Then the same happened on the opposite side - another $80. This has just happened for the third time. I was told that the cost would again be $80! I was not offered an explanation as to why these frames kept breaking. It would seem to me that a repair cost of $240 on a pair of glasses over a period of time just over 18 months is a little excessive. I will be taking my business elsewhere in future.
