On 13/10/23. I took a prescription for my glasses after refrection done by opthalmolgist. It was about lunch time. manger at that store had a look at that and gave me a price on glasses. I though i may check at Bupa outlet. Their price was better. As i have been a customer of OPSM or 20 years plus, i went back and wanted to order. Then a tall young girl had a look at the paper and told me quite abruptly that this is not good enough . It should have expiry date. I pointed out that refrection report is one days old. She was rude as if i should have known these things upfront. I have not heard that prescription to have a expiry date espcially when is was issued a day eralier. The i spoke to the manager and told him that he gave that quote, he was as rude and seem OK forme to leave. I happen to see another optalmologist today with my wife and posed him that expiry question. He was quite surprised and did not agree with that expiry bit. Purchased over $500 pair of glasses and on the day of Pickup the staff member Sarah was extremely rude and arrogant. Will nevermind back to this store as she was one of the rudest assistants I've ever come across. Do yourself a favour and take your business elsewhere where you will be appreciated and treated with respect as a valued customer. Terrible service!!
Took my son here to get his eyes checked and i felt the service was great. They looked after us and explained the importance of getting eyes checked at a young age. Although there was nothing wrong with my sons eyes and he does not need glasses, it was a great experience and a very educational one as a parent. My son felt comfortable and was not scared in getting the light shone into his eyes. Totally recommend for first time parent to have their kids eyes checked as young as toddler age.
I was here a few weeks ago after checking out the dic smith sale from across the store.
Their customer staff did not seem to care about its customers as they completely ignored me when I walked in wihtout any greetings. I was actually in the market for some contacts but after walking around the store for several minutes looking at their frames, I decided to take my business elsewhere.
I'm always hesitant to step into a chain optometrist. Often I find my eyes tested by people who have no idea what they're doing and get a different prescription each time. But OPSM Highpoint has made me reevaluate this, service was excellent, appointment was easy to make, I trusted the optometrist, he gave me the correct prescription whilst offering me optional extras which were relevant and important to me. Their range is extensive, the staff are lovely and you literally cannot leave unhappy as they REALLY listen to your concerns. Very impressed. Something for everyone's budget.
