Optus World

I bought a second hand phone years ago because it was simple and easy to use. It served me well until I changed providers recently and found it wouldn't work with the new sim card. I was told it was "locked" by Optus even though I've never had an account with them. After endless phone calls to Optus I was told they wouldn't unlock it because I'm not a cutomer of theirs. I found a company online who "guarantee to unlock any phone". They couldn't help because, they said, the phone is blocked. I'm nearly 80, disabled, deaf, and somewhat arthritic, and I wasn't born into a smartphone oriented world! I bought another phone, but it's so complicated it's completely beyond me. I bought another on ebay, similar to my old one but it has a different system on it. So I still don't have one I'm able to use. I need my old phone because it's manageable! Looking into broadband I dropped by here, very happy with the service, really friendly guy who explained their service honestly and without pressure tactics. He answered questions I had and asked me questions about how I use internet and was enthusiastic about what they offer.
