Optus

I went there to ask a few questions about my mobile plan and the Optus employee was extremely rude. He was sarcastic and condescending and even rolled his eyes at me when I asked him to clarify something that he said! Terrible customer service.

Not happy at all, very disappointed when I was told that a swap over on accounts would be 24 hours and I go in the next day for them to tell me it would be 2 weeks ! Now I am stuck with a broken phone for another two weeks !not impressed.

This place was awesome when I first got a Nokia 3210 phone many years ago... They were in the area even before Westfield Horsby opened. Gradually the popularity of mobile phones, the network and this particular store meant that it just got too busy to have great customer service. No wonder so many ppl including myself now order new phones and renew plans online.

Visited to get a replacement sim for my lost phone on a Friday. There were two staff in the shop and they were reasonably friendly and helpful. A little vague - but we got the job done! Very small shop, but I suppose they don't have too many things to display!

I was with another provider for a year and I was not happy with all the dropped calls. Every now and then I'd complain and usually they people on the phone were nice and even offered me a slight discount. Decided to try Optus since it's "supposed" to be better and was even more disappointed and especially frustrated with the service, or lack thereof, that I received at the store. The calls don't drop now, they just cut one person off completely meaning you're still connected to your friend but only one of the persons can hear the other talk while one side is dead. This problem started happening repeatedly in various regions so I complained. The store said try a new sim card, I did, it didn't work. Then I returned and the staff said they couldn't do anything and just to try another provider.
