Oriental Wok

Oriental Wok used to be our favourite asian take away restaurant. Food used to be amazing. As of late, the business has been sold to new owners. Our experience under new management is the food is now terrible and the service is not what it used to be. E.g The Lemon Chicken was 90% batter vs chicken. It should be called Lemon Batter as we were convinced most pieces did not have any chicken at all. In regards to the service, I ordered and paid, was then told there would be a 20 min wait and asked if it would be ok.. What choice did I have after I had already paid? The wait was longer BTW. Can anyone vouch for a quility Asian takaway resaurant in or near Thomastown?

Really truly delicious - and spicy enough for the 'average bod', plus they'll spice it up if you ask (but beware!)
Very good prices, about $10 for a huge serving.
The negative is it takes a long time to be ready as its all freshly prepared & seemingly just one guy cooking. There's chairs/tables there but forks only, no spoons, and not pretty enough for a date ;-)

Oriental Wok do the best asian food. They are only a tiny restaurant but whether your eating in or taking away the food and service is always 10 out of 10. I cant recommend highly enough.
