Terrible communication from start to finish. I felt like I was always chasing them and even when they said they would call me by this date, they pretty much left it to me to chase up. In the end they damaged my property and refused responsibility. Even when you call up to chase, they leave it for so long that it feels like you would eventually feel it’s a waste of you time chasing them. Still waiting for that call back 6 months on. Use another mover.

- International move from Cairns to Toronto.
- Small shipment of 2.5 cubic metres.
- Quoted 6-13 weeks.
- Took 29 weeks, and 20 emails of constant badgering to get any movement.

2nd time using this company, and looking back on original move 9 years ago, it also took DOUBLE the time frame quoted.

So any time frame they give you, DOUBLE it.

Do NOT recommend if you are bound by a time frame.

We first sent our goods to OSS on 18th October 2016. We found out that our goods left the UK 2 days before we did for Australia! The goods arrive at Brisbane on 31st March 2017 and we have to constantly call for updates, they still have no delivery date but they did say to us "it can take 12 -15 days to clear" its now 17th May 2017. We have paid all fees asked for and completed all forms required.
We constantly have to chase, they never call to advise you of whats happening.
In point of fact, as of today, we have no real proof that our goods are even here, we only have the verbal confirmations, but they cannot be trusted. I am now thinking of just submitting an insurance claim because until I receive FIRM CONFIRMATION that my goods are here and WHEN THEY WILL BE DELIVERED, I cannot ...read more

I moved from Brisbane to Dubai on October 2011. I signed a contract with OSS, and they told me I will get my consignments in 5-6 weeks.

After knocking every door, and trying all of forces finally they delivered my goods in March 2012.

During this period I had to buy almost everything, so now I have got double of everything.



After 3 months trying they asked me to pay extra money to speed up my shipment, but even that didn't work. Instead of deliverying in 2 weeks, it takes 2 months.



I wouldn't suggest them to any one, even my enemies.

I had my goods sent from Brisbane to Sydney. They did not handle my goods with good care. I saw damages to my furniture upon arrival. Not only that, when opening the packaging, they used cutters not with care and damaged the goods, causing scratches. I have used OSS before, but the quality of the service has dropped a lot since then. They didn't try to accomodate, did not offer me to fix those damages and just commented that furnitures were not meant to be moved around and the staff had put their "best possible care". Scratching my goods when opening using cutter represents "best possible care"? They even blamed me that it was my choice not to purchase insurance. I am very disappointed with OSS now and will never use their service again.
