Good steaks, ribs are okay but can be pricey

I went to this restaurant with high expectations. Two steaks and two coffees cost me $80. The food was ok. I was unhappy with the service who made me feel inferior. Like most northbridge venues, the service staff were from the overseas.

Very ordinary food and slow service would be my summation of Outback Jacks Northbridge. Three of us went there for dinner on a quiet Thursday night. It look a while to be brought menus, and even longer to select drinks. My friend who'd been there before said you can go to the back of the restaurant to select exactly which steak you'd like, but the staff at the meat counter was totally disinterested and unable to provide any advice. Our order was taken, but almost every item was wrong - a medium rare steak given as medium, 1 chicken wing instead of 4, a salad with dressing rather than on the side. The food wasn't anything special either, and the supposedly "spicy" steak sauce was nothing more than a mild salsa. Whilst the prices weren't too high considering the location, I'd go elsewhere if I wanted a proper steak.

Food was pretty good but the service was rubbish! Trying to get their attention to get a drink near impossible no asking if we wanted anything else next time would complain about service if it was like that again! The Fremantle restaurant is 100% better

I have to be the stick in the mud and disagree with the other comments. I went to the Northbridge Outback about a few weeks ago and it was terrible. The night started off fine and we were told we could order drinks from the table but mains we had to go to the back area to order, we said that was more than fine.
