P.J. Gallagher's Irish Pub
As the name suggests, P.J. Gallagher's Irish Pub is an establishment that seeks to recreate, through décor and atmosphere, a traditional pub from Ireland. The interior design will transport you from Drummoyne to the land of the leprechaun, with its intricate carved wood furnishings and stained glass. Meanwhile, the beverage list includes a range of local and imported beers on tap including the famed Guinness. If you feel like a bite to eat, a range of meals including pizzas and steak dishes are on the menu.
This is actually a pretty cool pub, especially the beer garden that is out the back. Okay, maybe you are wandering what brought me all the way up to Drummoyne. Well, I simply wanted to wander around the suburb for a bit, and I'm glad I did because I wouldn't have found this pub otherwise. Okay, it is a basic suburban pub, that happens to be in a very pricey part of Sydney, but it is simply lovely inside, and the beer garden out the back is nothing short of awesome. It also has a room called 'The Library' (and any pub that happens to have a room called 'The Library' has got to be good in my books) which basically has the pool table as well as books decorating the wall. Certainly one that I would visit again if I happened to be in the area.
THE TRAP_LORD SPEAKS: PJ Gallagher's pubs GO HARD. Their beats are just as phat and juicy as their steaks, plus they have excellent looking staff who are kind and very helpful. If you need to pull through a hard time with a good time then definitely hit up PJ's.

Yum! This place has fantastic pub food! Great place to come here for a nice long beer in the summer time. Its recently been renovated and is much more appealing. The bar tenders here are pretty friendly and are always up for a chat. I was here 2 weeks ago for a friends birthday and ordered the steak with chips - couldn't have asked for anything more! The steak was cooked to perfection, all at a reasonable price! Definitely coming back here again.
Fantastic pub, beautiful decor, comfy leather seating and even privacy booths. Its hard to stop looking around at all the intricate woodwork and decorations. The staff look happy to work here too, all smiles and helpful. They even have free wi-fi here, and it goes at a good speed. I looked up the menu on their web site online in less time than it took Hubby to go to the bar and bring the food menu back. This is definitely on my "I'll be back" list.
