Paddington showcases the very best of Australian contemporary art, craft and fashion, directly by the artists and craft makers themselves. Emerging design, art and fashion students compete for an opportunity to launch their creative talents on the Sydney art, design and fashion scenes.
Every Saturday, the markets come alive with 250 stalls selling unique collectibles and retro, the latest fashion styles, contemporary designed jewellery, home wares and original art. It is the creative mix of international artists that makes Paddington the market to visit on Saturdays in Sydney.
In the open-air, the market is situated in the grounds of the heritage-listed sandstone Paddington Uniting Church amidst the Victorian terraces and modern art galleries of Paddington. The Market is an integral part of the famous Oxford Street shopping strip.

I love the set out of this market, the outdoor stalls are partly shaded but you can still enjoy the sun when it's out. Lots of artist sell here so be sure to support local artists by looking at and purchasing some of their work. Inside at the back of the market there is also a gourmet chocolate stall, they are fantastic- the chocolate coated figs are amazing. Also must mention
