this has been a regular stop for me recently, as it is close to work and to other places i visit while in the city. such a warm and welcoming entrance when you walk in the door. the staff always greet you with a smile, and it doesnt matter what day of the week or what time of the day it is. this cafe seriously has some groovy people working in here. (yes i said groovy) haha!
i love the fresh food, that always has a local ingredient or purchase. the vegetables are always fresh, and nothing is ever served up that looks ugly. They clearly take pride in what their dishes look like.
they also serve a pretty radical coffee too! barista's that actually know what they are doing - TOTALLY ACE!
if you are in the area, or are passing down gilbert street you have to stop! dont drive past this one.
What a beautiful little cafe, set right in the city, but a fairly quiet street compared to the rest of the hustle and bustle of little old adelaide.
The service alone was worth 10/10
Despite being greeted and served by someone else, the owner made him self known and asked how my day was. Which was just lovely. It seriously counts for brownie points when your after top quality service.
