ABSOLUTE RIP OFF!! My partner and I brought our Toyota Corolla that was serviced less than a year ago but required a blue slip to be transferred to NSW plates. The mechanic calls me later in the day stating that $2,750 worth of fixes are required to comply with the blue slip. When I said I could not afford that, he started haggling with the prices, which made me suspicious.
I brought my car, along with a friend of a friend who knows more about cars to another mechanic in Revesby and the only fault was a dim rear brake light. The total cost INCLUDING the blue slip was $200.
Do not go to this mechanic, you will be over priced and cheated!
