Pakington Strand Fish & Chips

Great fish n chip shop, id say the best in all of geelong and surf coast. They make the best and freshest potato cakes. Every thing is pretty cheap and great customer service. Been back many times 10/10

We were here just last week in Geelong and came specifically here after looking up the directory for a fish & chip shop nearby. It was mid-day, and there was no one in the shop, no food left nor anyone serving, was starting to think if anyone was working. Shortly this Asian fellow came from the back and took the order. Had a steak sandwich, minimum chips, one fried fish and dim sim all for about $18. Came back in about 10 minutes and the place was fill with more people which made me feel somewhat re-assuring. Minimum chips, its the first I have to say in which I only got a fraction of what is generally considered Minimum chips in a paper bag, in this case it was in a box very few, with a piece of deep fried fish and dimsim. As for the steak sandwich it was ok, toasted sandwich with piece of meat and lettuce, cheese and heaps of bbq sauce. Not sure if I would return as there are always plenty of options around for fish & chips.
