Good pub food, great lamb shanks and pot pies. Fish and chips is always reliable, and from my experience they know what a rare or medium rare steak is.
Pub itself is fine, plenty of space, nice patio, some great big televisions in the main bar area, but they aren't very intrusive when you see the size of the room.
Restaurant area is kept separately and it is very pleasant.
Used to drink here years ago when it was a diggers pub and I lived locally. Now filled with Mum & Dad type (the kids are gone lets sell the 4 bedroom mansion) refugees from the the North Shore & Shire. The pub has been fixed up nicely and they pull a nice beer. Food is so so. All & all good pub with a great history
YUM. This is a nice clean looking establishment with a comfortable bistro. reasonable prices and friendly staff. We had the full rack of pork ribs with chips and salad. The meat was tender and the sauce delicious. The generous serving was easily big enough for the two of us. I will go back again and would happily take my family and friends.
