Palm Beach General Store

This is one of those good, old fashioned general stores which, well, sell a mix of things that one might need in desperation. However, they also have other things available, such as take-away options like fish and chips. I decided to go for the chips, particularly since I was a little peckish, and also had some time to kill while waiting for the ferry. I have to say that those chips were pretty good, and quite well priced as well.

A cheaper place for lunch than the more upmarket restaurant up the road, but limited to fish n chips, hamburgers. Fish was delicious though a bit pricey, chips ok.
They stock a few other basic items, didn't really look at them.
