Palm Beach Water Taxi

The previous owner/operator of this water taxi was helpful, friendly, and maintained the boat very well. The same can't be said of the current owner, who I find gruff, unhelpful, drives the boat in an abrupt manner, and doesn't appear to maintain the boat to the same standard; the paint is cracked and the rubber fenders are falling apart. He also does not run it 24 hours; today we called him at 4pm to ask for a pickup and he said he wasn't running. He then arrived at our wharf 20 minutes later to pick up other passengers. When we approached him to ask if he could do another run he told us to use the ferry instead. The man has a very unpleassant demeanour, and I'm glad of the extra competition from Fantasea water taxi service as it might force the operator to lift his game. Overall, I would not recommend using this service unless it was your only option.
