Palm Street boatyard is a hardstand yard and tidal dock ideally located in a scenic area adjoining Basset Basin and the Pioneer River in Mackay. It is a family owned and operated facility which has been established for fifteen years. Palm Street Boatyard boasts clean, spacious facilities situated directly opposite the city centre on the opposite end of the Forgan Bridge within an easy walk to town and close to shopping centres, post offices and banks. Access to the boatyard is tidal. The boatyard caters to a wide variety of recreational and commercial vessels including all types of yachts, monohulls, power boats and pleasure crafts with drafts up to 2 metres. The hardstand provides a generous area for each vessel. All sites have power and water. Facilities include a travel lift for boats to 40 metres, haul out trailer - mobile pneumatic slip, catamaran trailer for max beam of 7 metres, vessel cradles and stands. Water blasting facilities provided. There are clean and tidy ablution facilities, including separate shower rooms for men and women. Ample off street parking is available for clients.
